Summary
Patricia Gras discusses the role and future of the UN in a post-Cold War world with Michael Stopford, Director of the United Nations Information Center in Washington DC. Second segment addresses violence and crime among young people. Gras interviews Assistant District Attorney, Elizabeth Godwin, the Chief of the Juvenile Section of the District Attorney's office; Assistant District Attorney Kim Ogg, "gang expert" in Mayor Bob Lanier's office; and Bruce Marquis, Chief of Police for Houston School District. Includes report that focuses on County Commissioner Steve Radack's call for a new law that allows 14 year olds to be tried as adults.
