  • Description of this item from 2012 University of Houston Libraries exhibition, "DJ Screw and the Rise of Houston Hip Hop": In the late eighties, a teenage DJ Screw rocked the latest in hip hop style with his high top fade, single earring, and customized bomber jacket. He was photographed with a local rap group that he used to DJ for.
